FAQs

Do I need to have an account with you? How do I open an account? 

Yes, you are required to open an account with us before we can provide you with a log in that will give full access to all the products, prices and be able to place orders.

To open an account, you must be a genuine trader or business, please complete an application form here.

We offer two types of account a cash account where you can pay for your orders up front, or a credit account. Credit accounts are subject to status and checks, and you must have placed 3 cash orders, made and completed before being considered for a credit account.

Do I need to pay to join? What benefits are there to joining?

No! Payment is not required to set up an account.

As an account holder you will have full access to over 5000 products at trade prices. You will receive monthly offers and access to new catalogues.

Why can’t I see prices on the website?

The website is purely for Trade and business customers, if you are either of the above, please complete an application form here.

How do I open an account?

Creating an account with us couldn’t be simpler:

  1. Select which account you’d like to register for
  2. Fill out the registration form
  3. Once approved, shop our selection of trusted goods at low prices

Do you offer discounts on bulk ordering?

We always work to the tightest possible margins to offer everyone the best price. If you are looking at 3 or more appliances, we may be able to offer you a quote discount. Please contact our sales team for more details at sales@tradegoods.co.uk 

What are your delivery charges?

Generally, our delivery is free on orders above £100 Ex VAT. 

Our delivery charges vary depending on the item(s) ordered.

For White Goods only, there’s a standard delivery charge of £25 Ex VAT per item.

For all our other products, delivery is FREE on orders above £100 Ex VAT (£120 Inc VAT). For orders below £100 Ex VAT (£120 Inc VAT), there’s a standard delivery charge of £8.25 Ex VAT.

How do I cancel an order?

If you need to cancel your order, please contact our trade customer service team via our live chat service or call us immediately on 01903 930449. Terms and conditions apply.

What do I do if an item is faulty or damaged?

If the item is damaged on delivery and the driver is still there, please refuse the delivery and let us know so we can arrange a new item to be dispatched out to you. 

If the driver has already left, please get in touch with us no later than 48hrs after the delivery via phone or email at info@tradegoods.co.uk  to advise us of the damage.

How can I check the stock availability of an item?

The website will have up to date stock availability, however if you require multiples of a certain item, please contact our sales team on 01903 930449 – option 1, or via email at sales@tradegoods.co.uk

What is the warranty information for your products?

Our products are all supplied with the standard manufacturer’s warranty on brand new appliances. The length of warranty all depends on the manufacturer and product. Items are only covered when they are used in the environment they are designed for and used for the sole purposes they are designed and intended to be. If you require any other information, please get in contact with our customer service team via our live chat service or by phone on 01903 930449.

My delivery is missing an item, what should I do?

Sometimes multiple items come from different warehouses therefore may not all be dispatched at the same time, and you will have been notified what items are being delivered. If there is an item missing, please contact our Customer Service team live chat service or by phone on 01903 930449, who will happily investigate this for you. 

Do you keep everything in stock?

We hold a high level of stock in several regional warehouses, however in reality our manufacturers do run out from time to time. Our supply team will be busying themselves with sourcing alternatives in these situations, if there is something you need that is currently out of stock please get in touch.

Can I pay cash for my order?

We accept most major Credit/Debit cards Including Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Google Pay, PayPal – all payments are taken securely on the website.

I need a spare part for an item purchased from you, how do I get it?

For any spare parts you will need to contact the manufacturer of the product, you will need to provide the manufacturer with the model number and serial number of the item, and they will be able to help provide any additional parts you need. 

Can I specify a time slot for my delivery?

All delivery times of large appliances will be 7am-7pm. You will be provided an estimated 2-hour time slot via text message the working day before. Smaller items will be delivered by different couriers, and you will receive text message updates about your delivery within 48 hours of placing the order. 

Do you have a showroom?

No, we do not have a showroom displaying our items, we are an online trader only. Our main office is based in Littlehampton, but we hold a high level of stock in several regional warehouses. Your items will be dispatched from one of our warehouses once ordered. 

Once I’ve had my item, can I leave you feedback?

Yes! Once you have received your order we do welcome customer feedback, we may also from time to time send customers a review request as we strive to constantly improve our products and service.
